Description
Coconut shell powder is made from dried, clean coconut shells through crushing, grinding, and sieving into a fine powder. It is an industrial product used as a filler, extender, or raw material in various manufacturing processes.
It is used extensively in industries like plywood and laminated board, synthetic resin glues, mosquito coils, incense sticks (agarbatti), surface finishing, plastic, rubber, and automobile brake linings.
Coconut shell powder is known for its high hardness, uniform particle size, resistance to mould and fungi, and low moisture content, making it an ideal filler material. It is available in different mesh sizes, commonly 80–100 mesh, depending on end-use requirements.
